Application of cartoning machine, automatic cartoning machine and high-speed cartoning machine in ZHJ-80 multi-function cartoning machine

Abstract: Firstly, the overall scheme proposed by the whole cartoning process was designed. By using PLC to control the operation of the main engine, and controlling a series of different stages and processes such as suction box, delivery manual and medicine delivery, the design goal was achieved. At the same time, for the feedback signal of equipment failure, some equipment fault resolution methods are summarized.

Introduction The operation of the ZHJ-80 multi-function cartoning machine is controlled by a programmable controller, and various specifications of medicine plates, traditional Chinese medicine products, small long-length regular items and some foods are reliably loaded into the specification-specific paper box. The carton is sealed and sent out. It is suitable for the packaging of various medicines, foods, cosmetics and related industries.

1, the overall package

The packing process of the ZHJ-80 multi-function cartoning machine is shown in Figure 1. The manual placed on the paper folding machine is sucked into the paper folding machine under the action of compressed air and vacuum gas, and is folded and formed as required. After being conveyed by the rotating paper clip, it is sent to the paper feeding chain, and the paper is fed. The chain led to the pusher station waiting for the drug.



When the transmitter S5 located at the front panel detects that there is a specification on the paper-feeding chain, the feedback signal is transmitted to the host control center, a programmable controller (PLC). At this time, the PLC generates a vacuum at a specific time by the solenoid valve that controls the vacuum, sucks out the carton manually placed in the carton library by the suction box mechanism, sends it to the chain of the carton and opens the box, and then drives the chain by the chain. Go to the drug pushing station and wait for the drug. When the paper cassette is properly sucked out of the library and falls on the chain, the sensor S1 at the lower end has no signal output, and when the paper cassette fails during the suction process (such as a cartridge), the pressure cartridge lever is lifted upward. The PLC issues a control signal to stop the main unit and wait for the fault to be re-started. When the carton is properly sucked into the chain of the car, the sensor S3 located on the intermediate plate can detect the signal of the box, and the PLC will control the lateral pushing mechanism to push the tablet out of the library within a certain time; When there is no paper box, the PLC will control the lateral push mechanism to stop pushing the drug and make the host stop suddenly. When the S3 sensor detects the signal correctly, the vertical push mechanism pushes the medicine plate and the instructions into the box. Below the medicine library, a push detection sensor S4 is installed. When the medicine board is pushed out from the library, if the medicine is stuck, it is detected by the sensor S9 and quickly fed back to the PLC, which is realized under the control of the PLC. Stop the brakes. When the manual, the carton, and the medicine board arrive at the drug pushing station accurately, they are pushed into the box by the vertical pushing mechanism. If a stuck phenomenon occurs during this process, the overload device located on the pusher bar will function. At this point, sensor S6 will signal and PLC will control the host to stop. When the medicine board and instructions are pushed into the box, the paper cassette will continue to move forward under the movement of the chain. After the batch number device is installed, the steel word is marked and then enters the sealing station. A waste rejecting device is installed on the export conveyor belt, and all the waste products that have been detected by the front plate can be removed (especially a small box without a manual) to ensure that all the small boxes are qualified.

2 PLC application


2.1 Operation interface The man-machine interface adopted by the ZHJ-80 multi-function cartoning machine is EVIEW type MT506LV4CN. The interface is divided into main interface, debugging interface, automatic interface and synchronization setting interface.

2.2 Main motor start

(1) On the “Debug” interface of the man-machine interface, press “Power” “Start”, the PLC output Y14, Y15 indicator lights, respectively, and make the KA2 and KA3 relays work. KA1 starts the inverter running function, the power supply starts the main motor through the inverter; KA2 starts the main clutch.

(2) When the external button “Start” SB1, “Stop” SB3 is in the “Debug” screen of the man-machine interface, the external button is pressed to “Start” SB1 to start, press “Stop” SB2 as the fixed stop function, and “Stop” when the host stops. The SB2 button is a jog function.

2.3 Fixed stop to enter the “synchronization setting” screen of the man-machine interface, press “Jog” to set the fixed stop range, return to the “Debug” interface, press “Start” to start the work, press “Stop”, the host will run to the fixed stop range. On the rising edge, the PLC output Y14, Y15 indicator is off, the inverter running function is turned off, and the host is stopped.

2.4 The suction box function enters the “synchronization setting” screen of the man-machine interface, press “jog” the machine to set the working range of the suction box. Return to the “Debug” interface, start the “Sucker” button, turn on the machine, the host will run to the working range of the set suction box, the PLC output Y13 indicator light will be on, the solenoid valve YA1 will work, and the suction box will start. Stop the suction box, the PLC output Y13 indicator is off, stop the suction box work.

2.5 Manual Function Enter the “Sync Settings” screen of the display unit and press “Just” to the machine. Set the working range of the suction manual, the blowing manual, and the manual. Return to the Debugging interface. Start the manual button, turn on the machine, the main machine runs in the working range of the suction manual, the blowing manual and the gear manual. Solenoid valve YV6, YV, YV3 work, suction manual, blow instructions, block manual action.

2.6 The medicine delivery function is “online”, “online” is on, the PLC output Y14 indicator is on, and the feeding motor starts feeding.

2.7 Faults and Alarms Each fault alarm detection switch includes a cassette proximity switch S1, S2, a large flip switch ST1, a small flip switch ST2, a card medicine switch S3, and corresponding PLC input points X6, X7, X14, X15, X16. When working in the “Debug” screen of the man-machine interface, a fault occurs in the whole machine work, and the machine stops immediately, and an alarm occurs on the man-machine interface and indicates the fault. After troubleshooting, press “Reset” and the whole machine will return to normal. The electrical principle is shown in Figure 2, and the electrical principle is shown in Figure 3.





2.8 automatic function
Open the "Automatic Screen" point "Power", the power is on, click "Start", run safely and reliably according to the preset program, and the fault display "Card, Box, Flip, Small Flip, Card Medicine", immediately After the machine is shut down, press “Reset” and the machine will return to normal before it can be started normally.


3 Faults and their troubleshooting and their exclusion are shown in Table 1.



4 Conclusion

The operation of ZHJ-80 multi-function cartoning machine is controlled by PLC, the failure rate is extremely low, and the man-machine interface can be operated according to the requirements, which greatly improves the operation performance of the whole machine. It is an easy-to-use, A system with stable and reliable performance and strong modification.
